Russell Westbrook is a professional basketball player who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He was drafted number four overall in 2008 by the Seattle Supersonics, who later went on to become the Oklahoma City Thunder.

ever since Russell Westbrook came into the NBA, he has averaged double digit points. In the 2016-2017 season, he averaged 34.6 minutes per game, 31.6 points per game, 10.7 rebounds per game,10.4 assits per game, and 1.6 steals per game. In the 2016-2017 NBA season, Russell Westbrook acheived what most would call "impossible" on April 9th 2017, Russell Westbrook broke Oscar Robertsons triple double record. previously, the record was 41, but Westbrook did what he had to do to get that 42nd triple double and it is surely outstanding as you can definitely tell, Russell Westbrook is an elite point gaurd and easily deserves to become the MVP of the 2016-2017 NBA season

though Russell Westbrook has not recieved a natonal championship yet. he still remains loyal to the Oklahoma City Thunder, unlike his ex teamate Kevin Durant. at the end of the 2015-2016 season, Kevin Durant left to the Golden State Warriors in hopes of winning a championship. Westbrook remained in OKC, during the 2016-2017 NBA season, he led the Thunder to the 4 seed in the playoffs. unfortunately, they lost to the Houston Rockets in 5 games.
