A baby sheep is called a lamb. The average life span of sheep is usualy 10 - 12 years. There are at least 70 different types of sheep. Males can weigh from 99-350 pounds, and females can weigh 99-220 pounds. A group of sheep are called a flock, a herd, or even a mob.
