Corn snakes

Their docile nature, reluctance to bite, moderate adult size, and simple care. Though resembling the venomous copperhead and offten killed as a result of mistaken identity. Corn snakes lack functional venom and they help control rodent pests that damage crops and spread disease. the corn snakes are harmless and beneficial to humans.

Corn snake is named for the species' regular presence near the grain stores, where it preys on rats and mice.
