Macarons

Macarons are sugary, sweet, french confections. They're basically really expensive oreos. Their outside is crunchy and sweet, and the filling on the inside is also sweet.

Macarons are extremely hard to make, you have to get the consistensy perfect, get air bubbles out of the mix, and have all the specific ingredients

Macarons make very nice gifts, especially when made right. They will also serve as fantastic deserts. If you plan to perserve macarons, the best idea is to keep the filling and the meringue seperate, to assemble later.

When I made my first few macarons, they failed. Horribly. But with these, you can't accept defeat, because you won't get it first try, unless you're a baking god. Which I'm not. Usually, I will make strawberry macarons, to give macarons flavor you can use concertrate, such as strawberry concentrate, in the meringue, or you can flavor the filling. Personally I flavor both.

Overall, macarons are very good desert foods that I enjoy making and eating. If you were to give that a name, I'd say I would be a macaron enthusist. I hope my website will get you started on macarons, thank you for reading!
