Beavers are great animals to have around. People have tryed to eleminate their downsides and keep the good. Skip Lisle makes and installs flow divices for a living. Flow devices alow beavers to create their ponds without the risk of flooding. In Washington State, the Methow Beaver Project live-captures beavers that have damaged property and releases them in other places. Shortly after WWII, Idaho droped beavers from a plane, using a parachute. Suprisingly, only one beaver died.
