This is a piture of my Helmet. This is a picture of a lift card from France.

Above is a picture of my helmet, it is made by Giro, my other gear is, head skis and ski boots, champion snow pants, and a North Face Jacket. I normally wear spyder gloves when I ski.

Above is a picture of the lift ticket from the mountain I skiied at in France, and it was different than U.S. Lift tickets because you had to scan it every time you got onto a lift, when in the U.S. you normally scan it once or twice a day then you're set

Different Types of skiing- There is many different types, but I will start with cross country skiing. Cross country skiing is using your own body to either go across flat land or hike up a mountain, then ski back down without a lift ticket. There is trail skiing, trail skiing is the most common type of skiing, it is where you follow trails after getting off the lift off the top of the mountain to go back down. And there is heli-skiing, this is mainly common in Europe but also in Alaska because there are bigger mountains there than the lower 48 states. Heli-skiing is where you rent a heicopter and have the pilot take you to the top of the mountain, then they drop you off and you ski down. There is also many other types of skiing, but there are too many to talk about.

This is a video of people heli-skiing in Alaska, and it shows how you get the helicopter, and the "atmosphere" of the place where you would stay. I have not been heli-skiing before, but I would like to go one day.
