Thomas's top five NBA players so far in the 2019-2020 season

number 1

Giannis Antetokounmpo

In my opinion Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in the NBA, he is currently averaging 30 points per game, 12.9 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.1 steals, and a block per game. He already won MVP last year, and in my opinion I think he will this year also, partially also because he has lead the Bucks to a 40-6 record so far.

number 2

Luka Doncic

Number two on this list is going to be former Rookie Of The Year Luka Doncic, Doncic has surprised us all a second time by leading his Mavericks to a 29-17 record. To add to that he's putting up an MVP season, 29.1 points per game, 9.6 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1 steal per game. It seems to me and lots of others will agree that he's going to be unless a terrible injury a future Hall Of Famer, maybe even a top 10 player of all time.

number 3

Kawhi Leonard

And number three on my list is going to be LA Clippers superstar Kawhi leonard, Kawhi has always been known for his killer defense mainly, but he's expanded his game even more. This year he's averaging 27.4 points per game, 7.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 2 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. With him and Paul George this team will be hard to beat come playoff time.

number 4

Lebron James

Lebron has pretty much always been a top five player in the league, he just never seems to age, he's averaging 25.3 points per game 10.7 assists, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and half a block per game this season. He has lead the Lakers along with Anthony Davis to the 1st seed in the Western conference, and second best record overall. My money is on the Lakers to add championship number 17 this year.

number 5

Anthony Davis

Now this is a bit controversal, but I believe Anthony Davis is playing better then James Harden this season, he is playing like the best defender of all time with 1.5 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game. And how could I forget he's averaging 26.5 points per game, 9.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. And this is on a team with Lebron James and other scorers like Kyle Kuzma, and Danny Green. And he helped this team from going 37-45 and not making the playoffs, to helping Lebron make them the best team in the Western conference so far. They are one win away from already tying their amount of wins as last year and the NBA All Star weekend hasn't even started yet.
