Podcasting class
This is our first trimester of podcasting. We practiced the art of conversation as well as researching arguments. Students then collaborated with a peer to create a podcast about a topic. You'll hear a quick smippet tease or two at the beginning of their recordings, then discussion will ensue!

7th grade ELA
After reading Fever 1793 and various excerpts and articles about epidemiology and the spread of ideas, 7th grade ELA classes explored the different positive and negative social and scientific ideas that epidemics can inspire in humanity. Students then investigated a new epidemic and researched the same concept of scientific and social ideas spreading during an epidemic, much like the illness itself.
